Motivational/Inspirational Speaker – Kevin Meyers – Making a difference!

Kevin’s Mission

My mission is to provide encouragement and inspiration to help others understand that in order to bring happiness, love and success into their lives, it must begin within.

At 25 years old I was single, racing boats and living a lifestyle I considered footloose and fancy free!  Life was great!  Then tragedy struck like a bolt of lightning.  I was involved in a near-fatal boat racing accident in 1987 and went from 20/20 vision to a world of total blackness.  Miraculously, I found the ability to look very deep within myself.

The nine attitudes that will make you a ten!

In this presentation I will reveal the nine attitudes that helped me reach success in my professional and personal lives. I begin the presentation by explaining how the loss of my sight enabled me to recognize how my attitude affects my ability of overcoming a challenge. I then focus on the nine attitudes starting with how to approach a challenge with excitement. I conclude with the attitude of celebration, helping to instill in the listener a sense of what I’ve accomplished – and you can as well!

“Kevin presented at our Network Office Day. We had more than 200 people present at this event. The audience found his presentation to be very inspirational and motivational. Kevin found a unique way of connecting with everyone in the room. He made a great impact on people's vision. He spoke of how to overcome objectives and how to approach challenges with excitement.” - Brad P. Seitzinger, CLU, ChFC, Managing Partner Northwestern Mutual network office

The bricks of life

In this presentation I talk about how I lost my sight, went through the grieving process, learned the part my emotions play in approaching life, and found I could reach deep inside to discover my many talents, abilities and skills.

“The last week in June, I held a Youth Leadership Summit, and had the honor of having Kevin Meyers as a speaker for the event. The students at the summit were all young people with disabilities and the seminar was not only motivational for them but entertaining as well. The students also felt well informed by Mr. Meyers' session as shown by such comments as, "Kevin's presentation made me know how to be a better person" and "What I learned from Kevin was if you fail, it is like a brick wall. If you try your best you can knock it down no matter what."” - Alie Kriofske Mainella, Youth Leadership Specialist with Independence First of Milwaukee

I now share with diverse audiences my insights, spiritual depth and skills in dealing with grief, fear, public perceptions and major life changes. I have developed the ability to touch the hearts of many by sharing my inspirational story of struggles and successes.

Living my mission through my actions and delivering my presentations has allowed me to make a difference in the world. See the Starfish story.
